An energized teacher and trainer with 20 years of experience in teaching English as a Second Language, Academic English, Business English, English for Retail, English for Customer Service and Public Relations in Hong Kong, Macau, China, Vietnam and Japan.
Her classes are interactive and activity-based. She conducts training to absolute beginners to advanced level, from front-line personnel to vice presidents, from two to 80!
Miss Frances designs her own teaching materials and creates different resources to suit each of her students and classes.
One of her strengths is she knows how to develop an excellent rapport with students of all age groups and backgrounds. She also offers coaching to kids and teenagers.
Since 2010, Miss Frances has been appointed as the Language Advisor for the Employees Retraining Board (ERB) in Hong Kong. She has also worked as a part-time lecturer at Hong Kong Baptist University (SCE and CIE), Hong Kong Polytechnic University (CPBE and SPEED) and Institute for Tourism Studies (IFT) in Macau.
Miss Frances holds a Master of Arts in English Language Arts (Distinction), a Postgraduate Diploma in PR (Distinction), a Certificate in Teaching Business English and a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Young Learners (CELTYL) awarded by the British Council in Hong Kong / University of Cambridge, U.K.
Besides teaching, Miss Frances is a freelance copywriter, interior decorator and involves in a food trading business as well.
